Olusegun Oloruntobi
Olusegun Oloruntobi is a dairy economist and development practitioner based in Nigeria, currently serving as a Dairy Researcher at Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State, Nigeria. His research focuses on dairy economics, dairy policy analysis, and the profitability of dairy farming systems, with particular emphasis on strengthening smallholder competitiveness and informing evidence-based policy reforms in emerging dairy markets.
He is the Country Research Partner in Nigeria for the International Farm Comparison Network (IFCN), where he contributes to global dairy benchmarking and comparative production system analysis. Beyond academia, Olusegun is the Executive Director of Livestock for Social Good Foundation and the Managing Director of Stagic Solutions Limited, a leading agribusiness development and agricultural consulting firm in Nigeria.
He previously served as Team Coordinator (Business Support Services) for the 2Scale Dairy Program in Osun State—jointly implemented by the International Fertilizer Development Center (USA), Base-of-the-Pyramid Innovation Center, and SNV Netherlands Development Organisation, and co-funded by the Directorate-General for International Cooperation. In this role, he organized Fulani milk producers into functional dairy cooperatives, led institutional development for women and youth groups, and coordinated multidisciplinary research and implementation teams.
Olusegun is an alumnus of the TEKEDIA Mini MBA program at the Tekedia Institute and holds a Project Management Certificate from the Institute of Leadership and Management. His work bridges research, enterprise development, and inclusive dairy value chain transformation across Africa.
