Themba Mahlatini Mutsvairo is a prominent Zimbabwean dairy industry leader with extensive experience in dairy processing and sector advocacy. Themba is the current Chairperson of the Zimbabwe Dairy Industry Trust (ZDIT) and of the Dairy Processors Association of Zimbabwe, positions through which he champions industry-wide standards, capacity building and public–private collaboration. He also serves as Manufacturing Head at Dairibord Zimbabwe Private Limited, where he oversees production operations, quality assurance, and process optimisation across the company’s manufacturing portfolio.
A strong advocate for dairy development, regional economic growth and nutrition, Themba promotes investments in cold‑chain infrastructure, value‑addition and compliance with food‑safety standards to expand market access for dairy industry players. He works closely with farmers, processors, regulators and development partners to strengthen supply chains, improve milk quality. Known for strategic leadership and sector diplomacy, Themba represents Zimbabwean processors in policy dialogues and regional initiatives aimed at boosting production, enhancing nutrition outcomes and creating sustainable employment across the dairy value chain.
